Mary Paige Woodfin was born in Little Rock but grew up in Shreveport. She earned a degree in occupational therapy from Northeast Louisiana State University (now known as The University of Louisiana at Monroe). Throughout her life, she has loved impressionist art, especially watercolor. Now, in her retirement from OT, she devotes herself to art in her studio in East Texas.
